The Legends League wrapped up the regular season with the 1st (possibly last) DOUBLE HEADER NIGHT night! We had highs and lows. We had a few injuries, some blood, lots of sweat and I think I saw Jeff Mears shed a tear. The Bears and Celtics went 1 and 1 on the night. The Nets surprised the competition with two upset wins, and the Mavericks fought hard but could not overcome an injury depleted roster. Check the semi accurate team stats and box scores below. Next week is the Playoffs. Stay tuned for further updates on the league Facebook page and website.
Week 5 is in the books. In game 1, the Bears picked up a win with a league leading 91 points. In game 2, the Celtics and Mavericks battled with first place on the line. The Celtics squeezed out a one point victory. The Mavericks Dan Leach hit a three at the buzzer, but the refs waved off the shot as it came after time had expired.
Happy Friday. The Mavericks and Celtics pulled off big wins and are now tied for 1st place at 3 and 1. Full Team stats, box scores and standings below. Week 5 tips off on Tuesday.
Week 3 featured more exciting match-ups. Going into the week with all teams tied 1 and 1, the Celtics and Mavericks were able to pull away from the pack with hard fought wins. Check below for current standings, this weeks team stats and box scores. The saga continues next week.
